What is fact, and what is inference

The module keeps the epistemic status of every figure explicit.

FACT · COLLECTEDA posting exists at the named source at the collection time shown on the row. Rows link to the source; every row carries a source chip.

INFERENCE · CLASSIFIEDRole type, urgency tier, access type (fly-in, remote, winter road), and employer type are classified by Nexus from the posting text. Classification rules are deterministic and versioned.

INFERENCE · DEMAND SIGNALDemand signals (emergency / elevated) are derived from public event reporting and linked to postings by geography. A signal with no linked roles means no posting has been matched yet, not that demand is absent.

FACT · SOURCE STATUSEach registered source reports its last successful collection. Curated example rows that stand in for a source that cannot yet be parsed are badged “Example — unverified” and replaced automatically once live scraping works.

NOT AVAILABLEConfidence scores and editorial human-review status are not recorded by the collection pipeline today, so they are not displayed. Nexus does not invent them.
