Cyber Chain Technologies was founded by a Chief Information Security Officer who manages critical infrastructure for a major Canadian municipality — someone who sits on the accountable side of the table when a regulator, an auditor, or a council asks "how do you know this is safe?"

That vantage point shapes everything we build. We know what a privacy impact assessment looks like when it has to survive scrutiny, not just satisfy a template. We know the difference between a policy that exists and a policy that operates. And we know that in healthcare and the public sector, "move fast" is not a virtue — move deliberately, with evidence is.

What we believe

• AI recommends; certified professionals approve. Every output our platform produces carries its evidence and a human review trail. We sell judgment supported by tooling, never tooling in place of judgment.
• Honesty over polish. Our assessments are readiness estimates, not compliance determinations. Our guides distinguish binding law from guidance and standards. When something is uncertain — like the shape of federal AI legislation — we say so.
• Your scrutiny is the spec.Hospital CISOs and municipal CTOs apply vendor-risk scrutiny to everyone, including us. Canadian data residency, no training on client data, and NDA-first engagement aren't marketing lines; they're how we'd insist a vendor treat us.
• Consulting plus software, in that order. The NEXUS platform exists to make our engagements rigorous and repeatable. The relationship, and the accountability, stay human.

Where we work

We are based in Toronto, Ontario, and work with hospitals, municipalities, and regulated organizations across Canada. Healthcare is our first and deepest vertical; the same governance discipline extends to the public sector and regulated enterprise.
